The signs of the disease

1. The main sign of the disease are urinary disorders. The first and most common symptom is frequent urination, especially in the second half of the night, affecting the patient through frequent sleep disturbances, causing a state of fatigue.

2. Considering that the prostate is situated and develops its volume around the urinary channel, urination is sometimes difficult. The patient must wait until the first stream of urine appears, with considerable low pressure. In case of the apparition of these symptoms it is necessary to consult an urologist, for a specialty consultation, and the laboratory will realize the specific prostate analysis, called PSA. High PSA values represent an indicator of the malign nature of the disease.

3. Often complications may occur, like: blood in the urine, complete or incomplete urine retention, hydronephrosis, kidney infection which may lead to renal insufficiency.
