The diet in case of an increased prostate:

- Eat food that is rich in zinc (sea fruit, pumpkin seeds, roots etc.)

- Eat food based on soy, since the soy beans contain iso-flavones, protective against prostate diseases.



- Supplement the aliments containing beta-carotene, vitamins C and E, magnesium and essential fat acids.

- Eat lentil, corn and nuts. They contain glutamic acid, reducing the increased prostate.

- Reduce your consumption of lactates, refined carbohydrates and caffeine drinks.

- Drink nettle tea – infusion from 1 spoon of nettle for 1 cup of water. Drink 2 cups a day, one in the morning, and the second between lunch and dinner. The tea is indicated in prostate hypertrophy, but also in dismenorhea, respiratory affections, nose bleedings, skin ulcerations and varicose veins.

Prostate cancer (adenoma)

This type of affected is the most common of the benign tumors suffered by men. Its main characteristic is the development inside the prostate. The prostate adenoma appears usually after the age of 50, but mainly after the age of 60. Only 10% of the cases occur in young men.
