The herbs that increase the resistance to stress:

Medicinal herbs have an excellent effect in fortifying the organism and increasing its resistance to stress. Here are some of these herbs:

- the wild licorice (Astragalus Glycyphyllus) helps the immunity system and increases the capacity to adapt to stress. 500 mg are recommended once or twice a day.


- The licorice root is efficient in the regulation of cortisol secretion and contributes to the relaxation and regeneration of over renal glands, acting against the release of the stress hormones. For internal use macerate ½ teaspoon in 200 ml of water during one day.

The Siberian and Chinese ginseng improve the tonus and function of over renal glands, helping the balance of the hormonal secretions, implicitly of the stress hormones. Many studies indicate that the ginseng offers a good protection against mental and physical stress. Caution: do not use Chinese ginseng if you suffer from high blood pressure.
