Young girls when they reach puberty, have many egg-cells in their ovaries. Monthly the ovaries eliminate one egg-cell, moving from the uterine trunk to the uterus, the place of growth of the fetus, after the fertilization of the egg-cell by the seaman of a man. Every month the uterus gets prepared for pregnancy. If no fetus grows in the uterus, the egg-cell is eliminated from the body through the vagina.

The pregnancy is the encounter between a sperm cell and an egg-cell, followed by alterations of the uterus allowing the fixation of the embryo. The pregnancy occurs when, following sexual intercourse, a sperm released though ejaculation fecundates an egg-cell.
