ORCHITIS
Disease characterized by the inflammation of the spermatic cord, and testicles. Orchitis may be caused by several viruses and bacteria. Orchitis may appear in combination with prostate infections.
Treatments:
- Horsetail (Equisetum arvense); Macerate – five tea spoons of powder for one liter of water are left to macerate for 12 hours at room temperature. After the strain the entire quantity must be drunk during one day.
The powder is obtained from grinding the dried plant with an electric coffee grinder.

- Horsetail (Equisetum arvense); Macerate – four tea spoons of powder for one liter of water are left to macerate for 10 hours. After being strained the composition is set aside and the remaining plant is boiled in ½ liters of water for five minutes, cooled and strained. The two extracts are mixed and used as compresses and local baths.
- Marigold (Calendula officinalis); massages with marigold ointment.
The ointment is prepared from heated pork lard, to which 30 grams of fresh flowers should be added, on easy fire, and slowly stirred for ten minutes. The mix must be cooled until next day when it must be reheated and strained.
- Marigold (Calendula officinalis); infusion from two full tea spoons of dried flower for ¼ liters of boiling water for five minutes. The product must be strained and drunk look warm, three times a day during the day, half an hour before meals.
The concentrated infusion is made from four spoons of flowers for 200 milliliters of boiling water, infused for 5 – 10 minutes. The product must be strained and drunk three spoons a day.

- Saint John’s Wort (hyperici herba); infusion from one tea spoon for one cup of boiling water, infused for ten minutes and strained. The treatment consists in three cups a day.
