MENOPAUSE
Is a normal, complex physiologic phenomenon that appears at women between 45-50 years, due to endocrine modifications; its obvious manifestation is the stoping of the menses. It is manifested through nervous disturbances like depression, instability, hot flashes, obesity, arterial hypertension and rheumatic symptoms.
Treatments:
- Hawthorn flowers, leaves and fruit (
30 grams of macerated plant for two weeks, tincture, into 100 milliliters alcohol (60 degrees) take 15 drops in a bit of water, three times per day.
- Motherwort herb (Herba Leonuri); infusion from three teaspoon into a cup, drink it during a day.
Tincture, 30 grams of macerated plant into 100 milliliters alcohol, for a week, take 40 drops, three times per day.
- White deadnettle flowers (Floers Lamii albi); infusion from two teaspoons of flowers into a cup of boiling water, drink two cups per day.
- Motherwort herb (Herba Leonuri) 20 grams, squirrel tail flowers (Flores Millefolii) 20 grams, shepherd’s purse (Herba Bursae pastoris) 20 grams, hawthorn flowers and leaves (Flores Crataegi cum folium), deadnettle flowers 10 grams; infusion from a teaspoon of mixture into a cup of water, drink three cups per day.
- Lady’s mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris); Lady’s mantle powder is obtained through maceration of lady’s mantle flowers, using the electric mill. Take three not very full teaspoons per day; take 5 teaspoons per day if the bleeding is very strong, but only for a couple of days, as a superdose can cause adverse reactions
Infusion from two teaspoons of lady’s mantle into a cup of boiling water, drink three cups per day.
