Basil:


The basil is a herbal plant, original from India, used as a natural remedy because of its soothing, refreshing and tonic properties. It is also used as spice or for tea. The basil strengthens the nervous system and favors digestion.



It contains volatile oils with anti fungus properties (stops the multiplication and destroys pathogen fungus).

It is recommended especially during periods of study and accumulation of information, because it improves memory and clears the mind. Psychologically, the basil reduces indecision, confusion or doubt. Fights negative energy and induces happiness and good humor.

It contains volatile oils, with antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and healing properties. In cosmetics compresses or spraying are used in case of fat, oily complexion or acne. The tea is recommended as mouth wash against bad breath and gingival strengthening.

A hand full of dried plant boiled in 250 milliliters of cold water may be used as mouth wash or gargle against mouth lesions or thrushes. The basil infusion is considered by naturists a true youth elixir, recommended in premature aging and menopause disorders. Feminine sterility can be fought with basil tea. From one spoon of dried chopped basil for 200 milliliters of boiled water we obtain an excellent sterility medicine. Drink 2 warm teas a day taking rare sips after the main meals.
